About Me

I’m first a husband to a beautiful and unbelievable woman, Kimberly.  Over 9 years ago I asked this girl from Oregon to drop everything she was comfortable with and marry me.  Amazingly, she said ‘yes’, and our lives have never been the same.  We still fight and I still fart under the covers, but at the end of day I can sleep better knowing that I’m going to grow old with my best friend in the world.

Followed closely, are my two adorable daughters, Hannah and Elliana, who teach me to laugh and play everyday.  A house full of woman have taught me many things.

Toilet seats are meant to be put down.

“Clean” clothes are meant to be put up.

And most importantly, when one cries… they ALL cry.

And that’s OK.  I don’t want to find myself 20 years from now with a successful ministry but have missed out on my families lives.

When I’m not fighting crime on the streets of Gotham City, I’m a clueless but forever grateful pastor to the tribe I call Twentyfourseven student ministry.  I’ve been in youth ministry on and off for aImost 10+ years and it never gets old.  I love the brutal honesty I get from most teenagers.  If they’re bored, they’ll let me know.  If they’re excited, they’ll let me know that as well.  It’s only as we get older that we learn to put on masks that hide our truest selves.  My goal in youth ministry isn’t to grow the largest ministry in the world but to help facilitate growth in as many teenagers as possible to go out into the world.

I love a good book and love telling stories.  On a perfect day I’ll be at the beach with my family and friends, a book in hand and an old Denver Bronco t-shirt from the 2009 Championship season.
