A Disney Daft Punk
I found this video of a teenager with a fart machine and laughed out loud.
Most people have probably seen this, but here’s to the one person who hasn’t!

I’m happy to be back at the blogging post once again. It’s been WAY too long since I’ve posted. With our March Madness outreach, I was in a blur of busyness, and it seemed I never could find the time to blog. Well, here we are and I’m excited to be back in the swing of things!
Weekend Teaching Series: Soul Sessions Part 1: In a Pit
Our first week back from our month long outreach, “March Madness” came with a retro theme called “Soul Sessions”. During the month of April we are going 70′s! We invited all the students to dress in their best 1970′s garb and had a pretty fun turnout. I sported some hand made bell bottoms and a beautiful butterfly collar!
Sermon in a Sentence:
Life is full of “pits”. When you learn why and how to get out of them, you REALLY begin to evolve as a Christ Follower.
This Week’s Scale of Difficulty:
8 out of 10. Pretty busy week in prepping for the new series. Had a great time studying for this message… I probably went too long (as usual), but I felt really passionate about the topic of “getting out of a rut” as a Christian. Had a superb group of youth staff that stepped up in an amazing way… I love our leadership team! We have begun to implement our Tribes (small groups) into Thursday nights and beyond. WAY STOKED about seeing our students plug in to a tribe and grow!
On another side note, we have completely changed over the reigns of ”worship leader” from Tim Weaver to Kyle Caffrey. I am UBER pumped about this move, because Kyle is a great student and a very talented worship leader. Having a student up there lead the worship is a totally different atmosphere and one that I hope everyone will enjoy! I plan on meeting with Kyle regularly and building a great worship team that will blow the roof off!
Attendance:
Attendance was down %19 from the previous week. Up 33% from the same week last year. We expected a decline after our outreach, but was very pleased to see a HUGE number of our visitors return from the last several weeks!
Service Length:
90 minutes
Music Playlist:
Love Enough
What the World will Never Take
Inside Out (theme song for the night)
Youtube Video Annoucements:
I haven’t posted our video announcements in awhile, and I get a lot of people asking for them, so… here is the last couple weeks of Youtube video announcements!
